"Le Marche" spread between the
Appennines and the Adriatic sea while presenting landscape aspects
of big variety. One goes through the high mountain by the long
beaches of the coastline of the Adriatic through an extent of hill.
The plains are a bandage tightened safe from the coast of the Sea
Adriatic along the what is Fano. The city rises to two steps of the
country "marchigiana", to the mouth of the "Metauro" stream in
province of "Pesaro e Urbin".
The old core (historic center) and the modern part founds in an
atmosphere of cordiality and vivacity.
Two are beach separated by the port: the one of west called "Lido"
and the one of raising named "Sassonia". Fano is rich of history,
Roman city, preserve visible and important traces.
Of following epoches can be admired medieval testimonies and of the
"rinascimento": the "Palazzo della Ragione" (XIII sec.), the Court
and the Graves of "Malatesta", the Cathedral... |
